Duncans Royal Scotch collies, Sheffield, c. 1910

Duncan's Royal Scotch collies appeared at the Sheffield Empire in March 1908 and August 1910, described as not called the canine actors for nothing. They can somersault, play the harmonium, and give a realistic representation of a fire, with rescues by the life-ladder, in a way that provokes both applause and amusement.'
