Full title: Valuable freehold estate to be sold by auction, by Messrs Bardwell and Son, at their auction rooms, in High Street, Sheffield.
All that messuage, farmhouse, or tenement, with barn, stable, cowhouse, yard, and outbuilding, with 70 acres, 2 roods and 2 perches of land, situate at Holdworth, in the Chapelry of Bradfield, in the parish of Ecclesfield, in the County of York, now in the occupation of Ellis Crapper.
Lots include: Hardins, Croft, Kiln Hill, Farr Field, Gilling Flatt, Nether Gilling Flatt, Great Pasture Field, New Pieces, Torr Top, Well House Croft, The Acres, Triangle, Kilne Croft, Upper Kilne Croft, Low Rye Croft, Neese Croft, Common Piece, Loxley Field and common allotment.
The above estate is tithe free, but subject to Land Tax. The house and outbuildings are in good repair. The Estate is situate about five miles from Sheffield, and adjoining the Subscription Moors, and is very desirable for any gentleman fond of grouse shooting.

Refers to the Market Hall (butcher's meat, fish, game, poultry, rabbits, butter and eggs every day); The Norfolk Market Hall (all kinds of provisions for the food of man (except butcher's meat, fresh or uncured fish, game, poultry and rabbits; also for gardener's plants, flowers, roots and seeds, and for manufactured articles every day); Castlefolds Market (wholesale articles as may be retailed in the Market hall every day); the Corn Exchange and Market (corn and other grain every Tuesday); the Hay Market (hay, straw, fodder, pulse, potatoes, and other roots every Tuesday and Saturday); Smithfield Market (horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, and calves on Tuesdays); also the Fairs, held twice a year - the summer fair on Tuesday and Wednesday next Whit Monday), and the Winter Fair on the last Tuesday and Wednesday in November.

Tenants mentioned: George Howson, Joshua Walker, Joseph Foster, Jonathan Vickers, Richard Nash, Robert Glaves, James Brown, John Spencer, George Oxley, Samuel First, George Gibbins, John Thornhill, John Goodwin, John Clay, William Peckett, G. Chalinor, Frost and Walker, and Elizabeth Hawke, Samuel Butcher, Joseph Marsden, George Denton, Luke Green, Benjamin Sissons, John Briggs, Ann Roberts, Thomas Clark and Hugh Garfitt, Robert Hoyland, Widow Wilkinson, Widow Holland, William Wilkinson, William Holland and Thomas Holland.
Also a newly erected dwelling house, Old Church Yard, lately occupied by Mrs Mary Winter, deceased.
Three substantial dwelling houses in Church lane, occupied by Thomas Mycock, Thomas Sanderson and George Taylor.
