At a meeting of the Council of the said City held at the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Monday 9th November 1908 it was unanimously resolved that the best thanks of this Council, under its corporate common seal be presented to Alderman Harry Parker Marsh for the able and very satisfactory manner in which he has performed his various official duties as Lord Mayor of this city during the year.It was also unanimously resolved that the best thanks of the Council under the corporate common seal be presented to the retiring Lady Mayoress Mrs Harry Parker Marsh for the venerable services rendered by her during the past year.Signed H.
